| Timeline ························· 2 0 0 1 - Magnus records a new album. - Beagle plays at the International Pop Overthrow-festival in Los Angeles, USA. The name Beagle is used for the first time since 1994. - The track "Embarrassed", taken from the forthcoming album, is used for the Swedish tv-comedy success "Hipp! Hipp!". - Songs that Magnus wrote and recorded between 1997 and 2000 suddenly appears on bootleg-albums in USA. Older songs are chared by Napster-users through out the world. - The two Beagle-records "Sound on sound" and "Within" are rereleased on vinyl by the London-label Sur la Plage. - The records are booming at eBay, at very high prices. ························· 1 9 9 8 - 2 0 0 0 - Magnus records and produces the soundtrack to the movie "Music for one apartment and six drummers", made by Johannes Stjärne Nilsson and Ola Simonsson. The movie, which Magnus also is acting in, is nominated to a Gold Palm at the International Film Festival in Cannes. - Magnus starts building his studio, Free Electric Enterprises and starts writing new songs. - He is also touring and recording with Swedish artists Pelle Ossler, Staffan Hellstrand, Janne Kask and Brainpool. ························· 1 9 9 7 - The finished Favorita album is permanently put on ice, after longlasting trouble with the record comany. - Magnus writes the score for the musical "Leonard Pläd, written and produced by Swedish filmmakers Johannes Stjärne Nilsson and Ola Simonsson. ························· 1 9 9 6 - Favorita releases the single "Seven Comforts". - Pulp is looking for a suitable support for their Swedish tour. The offer goes to Favorita, after Pulp has heard Favorita's recordings. Favorita plays support for Pulp on all their gigs in Sweden. ························· 1 9 9 5 - Favorita plays live in Sweden and signs a record deal. - Magnus plays with Chris Bailey (The Saints) and also participate on his record "54 days at sea", which is recorded in the same studio that Beagle used for their first two albums. ························· 1 9 9 4 - Beagle transforms into Favorita, and starts recording. - The compilation "Beagle" is released in Japan ························· 1 9 9 3 - The second album, "Within", is released. The band goes on tour. - Beagle makes videos for the singles "When I speak your name" and "Nine out of ten". ························· 1 9 9 2 - The second single from "Sound on sound", "The Things That We Say", is a hit in Sweden. "Sound On Sound" is released on vinyl and CD all over Europe. - "Sound on sound" is nominated for a Swedish grammy in the category Best new popband. - Beagle goes on tour for the first time and plays 50 gigs during four months. - The band records "Dum dum diddle", which appears on Polar's ABBA-compilation, "ABBA the tribute". ························· 1 9 9 1 - The first single "A Different Sunday", is released in December. - Beagle signs a record contract with Polar in Stikkan Anderson's home at Djurgården, Stockholm. |
